Ask about each material stream
Give the provider a direct list: concrete, brick, dirt, asphalt, shingles, drywall, wood, metal, fixtures, and packaging. Do not assume a container approved for mixed remodeling waste can take a full load of dense material.
Estimate weight as well as space
Heavy debris can reach a container limit while the walls still look low. Ask for the material-specific fill instruction and included weight in writing.
Keep unknown materials out
Paint, solvent, fuel, pressurized cylinders, asbestos-containing material, contaminated soil, and unknown liquids need separate evaluation. Southern Nevada health guidance says hazardous and restricted waste requires proper handling.
Stage cleanly
Use separate piles or labeled zones before loading. This reduces accidental mixing and gives the project lead a chance to confirm what belongs in each container.
